ALAN COCKBAIN Alan sadly passed away peacefully on the 25th July aged 90. Alan was a loving husband, father, grandad, great grandad and friend to many and will be dearly missed. Alan, originally from Stockport, had lived in Harpenden for over 65 years and spent most of his working life at Rothamsted Research. Funeral service to take place at St. Nicholas Church Harpenden on Tuesday 20th August at 11am. followed by a committal at Westfield Cemetery.
